To say we were delighted with the results of using the Solacoat System is an understatement.
We were looking to repaint our 30+ year old metal roof and possibly retrofit some form of insulation to the underside of the roof to cut internal house temperature during the summer.
Dylan (Butler) suggested we look at the Solacoat System which is basically a spray on paint which sheds most of the absorbed heat back into the air, leaving less than 2% of the heat reaching the roof surface. We chose the cream colour which has a reflectance of 85%. During our hottest days (38C) recently, the house’s interior temperature was about 23C. Having the roof Solacoated has meant we have had the roof painted with no additional insulation expense.
Dylan provides a professional service that includes roof preparation and pressure cleaning, along with the paint application. The work he has done has enhanced our home and helped us minimise our energy expenditur.
